Thanking the Troops

Bill White, New York PostDuring the holiday season, please take more than a moment to remember and be grateful for the enormous sacrifices made by brave American service members to protect our freedoms and defend our way of life.The members of our all-volunteer force serving in Afghanistan or Iraq will most likely spend the holidays in a heavily fortified camp or on patrol looking for and expecting the worst -- doing their job away from their spouses, children, parents and friends.
