This week President Obama signed the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act, a $4.5 billion measure that increases the funding for school lunches and after school meals and will make the food served in schools more nutritious. John McWhorter of The Root argues that combating childhood hunger and obesity is not just about access to nutritious food, it is about learning healthy eating habits.
