The New Republic: Why The Left Will Miss Summers
Some progressives rejoiced at the news that White House adviser Larry Summers is stepping down, but Jonathan Cohn of The New Republic argues that they should rethink their position. Summers has moved increasingly to the left on many economic issues, and it is possible that his replacement could be even farther to the right than he is.
