There was no closer House race in 2008 than Virginia's 5th, where Democrat Tom Perriello barely beat out a long-serving Republican congressman. Now, GOP candidate Robert Hurt is riding anti-incumbency sentiment, hammering the Democrat for his support of the White House agenda. NPR's Melissa Block traveled to Southside Virginia to talk to both candidates, as the battle to turn out the vote heats up.
