Voters Are Ready to Send Democrats a Message
Merrill Matthews, ForbesNov. 2, Election Day, will be one for the history books.For months the political prognosticators have been slowly ramping up their predictions in favor of Republicans. Democratic leaders, by contrast, pooh-poohed any suggestion they could lose the House, but even they now feel the winds of discontent.Not only is it likely that Republicans will take over both the House and Senate, I think it's probable. And a whole bunch of state houses and governors' mansions as well.
