Physicists: If There Is a God Particle, We'll Find It Soon

The long search for the fabled Higgs boson may be drawing to its end. Rolf Heuer, director-general of the European Organization for Nuclear Research, CERN, has reportedly stated that the particle's existence will either be proved or disproved within 12 months. Heuer's statement was backed by two other prominent scientists.
