Salesforce?s Benioff: ?We Were Born Cloud, Now We?ve Been Reborn Social?

Today, at Salesforce's Dreamforce conference, founder and CEO Marc Benioff took the stage to adress the event's 40,000 attendees. We know Salesforce is bullish on the social enterprise and Benioff kicked his keynote off with this statement about Salesforce: "We're were born cloud, and now we've been reborn Social." Benioff also said that Salesforce has passed a $2 billion annual run rate in revenue. The company is now powering more than 36 billion transactions a day for over 100,000 customers. And Benioff called out Apple's Steve Jobs, who he said led the mobile era.

Colorio E-820: Epson?s New Photo Printer Is Portable, Comes With Display And Remote Control

Epson announced [JP] the Colorio E-820 for the Japanese market today, a photo printer and wireless keyboard set somehow designed like a computer from the 1970s or 1990s (at least when looking at the top menu). The newest in a line of similar devices, this 5,760�1,440dpi inkjet printer is suitable for printing both pictures and postcards without a PC. Users can create postcards by choosing between 1,055 different pre-set designs and use the 7-inch LCD screen (800�480 resolution) to check their works before printing them. The keyboard is for adding comments, greetings, etc. to the pictures and postcards.

Begin designing a new home on your phone and then place it on the Surface to share between all the devices, then pick up the Slate to make some modifications before walking through a 3D model of the building, navigating with Kinect's gesture interface. Software like AirPlay and Touch to Share already give you a taste for this sort of tech, but the experience that Dr. Neil Roodyn demonstrates in the video below is far more immersive -- not to mention unspeakably cool.
